How to run this session

Stages and timing

  1. Make the cat outline
  2. Connect the inside with lines A and B
  3. Fill the head with strands
  4. Give the cat your own pattern

What gets built

Create a recognizable cat silhouette without excessive detail.

What it practises

  • Drawing the outline and joining its ends
  • Joining the supporting lines to the outline
  • Filling the areas with strands from edge to edge
  • Choosing your own colors and stripe rhythm

Success criteria

  • You can recognize a seated cat measuring approximately 80 × 60 mm.
  • The tail connects to the body at its base and return, and lines A and B stay attached to the outline.
  • The filling strands reach the edges of the areas. Your own pattern keeps the ears and tail clearly visible.
