Fox with a bushy tail
Build a standing fox figure about 20 cm long: four legs, a distinct muzzle, tall ears and a large tail also supported by an openwork base. Russet PLA, a cream chest and tail tip, and short textured strands give the figure its character. A project for several sessions.

What gets built
Create a recognisable character through volume, proportions and texture.
What it practises
- Building a shell over ribs
- Joining separate subassemblies
- Creating texture and checking support
Success criteria
- The long muzzle, two ears and large tail with a cream tip are clearly visible.
- Every texture strand has both ends joined to the shell.
- Once cool, all four feet and the lower tail support remain attached to the base; the figure does not rock when the base is lightly touched.
